William G. Karmozyn, 74, of Burrillville, RI passed away on April 24, 2022. Born in Woonsocket, a son of the late John and Yvette Karmozyn. He was the husband of the late Diane (Peck) Karmozyn.
Billy owned and operated Bill's Small Engine Repair in Burrillville for many years and worked until his shop closed in December. He studied at East Coast Aero Tech and later worked as a sheet metal mechanic at General Dynamics for 15 years. He was a former EMT and a volunteer firefighter for the former Glendale Fire Department. In his younger years, Billy enjoyed working as a cook at Johnny's Clam Spa alongside his family.
Besides fixing small engines, Billy enjoyed reading books, riding around in his former 1948 Dodge Power wagon, attending car/truck shows, trips to Hampton Beach and listening to polka music.
He is survived by his children Lisa and Michael Karmozyn (wife Christy), several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces & nephews.
He also leaves behind his brothers, John Karmozyn, Jr. and Robert Karmozyn and his wife Patricia.
He was preceded in by his sister-in-law, Mary Karmozyn.
Calling hours will be held at the Keene- Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield, on June 9, 2022 from 11-1:00 PM. Burial and Committal Service will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Pascoag at 1:30 PM.
